Curious About my Wall Mounted Curio?

What I am going to discuss today is how my wife tricked me into buying a new piece of furniture. I guess she really didn’t trick me, but it sure felt like it. What began as a quiet spring day turned out to make me feel as if I needed a nap in the early afternoon.

I went down stairs to get a cup of coffee and in the middle of the living room floor was approximately a couple hundred of my collection of shot glasses. You see my wife had started her spring cleaning. She handed me a dust cloth and some glass cleaner and said get to work. Then she proceeded to talk about how we needed some place to display them that would keep them cleaner for a longer period of time. Right now I have them on shelves that are not enclosed.

The Perfect Solution was to Mount it on the Wall

So I went back up stairs after the cleaning spree ended and started searching for something that would let me display my collectables and also keep them dust free. I found several cabinets that would work, but the wall we had in mind was too small for the pieces that caught my eye. Then I came along a site that had wall mounted curio cabinets. They seemed to reek with sophistication and style. I new my wife would be pleased.

They were just what we were looking for. They come in a variety of styles, shapes, sizes and finishes. I had to find one that would compliment the overall design and decor of the room. I was also quite pleased to find that they were less expensive then the full size cabinets.

Through my search there was one that would certainly hold all my shot glasses and become the focal point when guests drop by. It would make one notice just like any other fine piece of treasured art. This piece would ultimately let me experience the pride and joy that comes with ownership of such a beautiful and elegantly crafted furniture display .

This wall mounted curio cabinet had special features. It had interior lighting to help me show off my collection, side windows, mirrored back panels, two way sliding doors and five adjustable shelves. And I ordered it in a dark walnut finish to match the other decor in the room.
