Is a Pot Rack in Your Kitchen
My friend Jake thought he knew everything about pot racks. When he was over the other day he kept saying, "Ask me anything about pot racks and I will have the answer." I told Jake that no one knows everything there is to know about those racks in your kitchen that hold pots and pans. The next thing you know, Jake is reaching into his pocket and pulling out a twenty dollar bill and says, "I'll bet you twenty dollars that I can answer any question you have on racks that hold pots." I'm not one to back away from a friendly wager, so I replied, "Your on!" Okay Jake, here is your first question. Me: What are the vast majority of the pot racks made from? Jake: That's easy. These racks are made from wrought iron, copper, stainless steel, wood and brass. Me: That is correct. Me: Next question is: What are the four main categories of these racks? Jake: If I remember correctly the four main categories are Hanging Rack, Wall Rack and Lighted Rack, Standing Rack, but I would add a fifth category of Book Shelf Rack. Me: So far you are 2 for 2 with correct answers. Me: Your next question is: Who manufactures the "Hi-Lite" series of these racks? Jake: If my memory serves me right, I believe that is Sandra Lee. Me: That's pretty good Jake. That's three correct answers in a row. Me: Now let's see how good you are. The next question is: What are the five Specialty Categories for these racks? Jake: Give me a minute to think about this... Okay, I think I've got it. The five Specialty Categories are Lighted, Book Shelf, Decorative, Custom and Low Ceiling for these racks. Me: That's right Jake. You are now 4 for 4. Me: This will be my final question. If you answer this correctly the twenty dollars is yours Jake. The final question is this: Who manufactures the Verona 2 Light Rack in Aged Golden Copper? Jake: That's a tough question. I have two manufactures in mind. Let me think about this for a minute. I think I have the answer. I believe the company that makes the Verona 2 Light Rack in Aged Golden Copper is Hinkley Lighting. Me: I'm sorry Jake. That is incorrect. The Verona 2 Light Rack in Aged Golden Copper is made by Kenroy Home, but I have to say you do know a lot about pot racks. Needless to say, I won the twenty dollar bet. I took the twenty dollars and took Jake out to lunch on me. That way he didn't feel so bad about loosing the bet. How much do you know about these racks?
