It Was a Restless Afternoon for the Two of Them metal wall art I was on duty watching the kids since my better half was out with some friends. Lying back in my comfy Lazy Boy, paper in hand and a baseball game in the background. I had the feeling of serenity. This feeling lasted for maybe a minute. Next thing I knew there were two wound up children bouncing on my lap and begging for my attention. So I did what most parents do when this happens. As most of you are aware, you that have been reading my website for a little while now, you know I live in the suburbs close to Chicago. We were taking a drive into the city for lunch at one of my favorite delis. It was kind of a long ride and I could hear my munchkins in the back seat getting a little restless. So I started looking around for a park to allow my kids to run around before we sat down to eat.
Stopped at a light, out of the corner of my eye I spotted a park. Making a left turn we entered the area. Looking up at a sign, the grounds were named sculptured park. We started to walk down a winding path and every few feet there was an abstract sculpture by some well known and obscure artists. This turned out to be quite fun for my kids and me. We would stop at each one and tell each other what we thought the sculpture was portraying. You should have heard what our minds and imagination came up with. All the way home my kids could not stop talking about our great day. My Brain Was Working Overtime
When we retuned home my brain was thinking only one thought. I had all sorts of ideas of how we could incorporate this metal artwork into our surroundings. Like usual, I started surfing the net to see what was available. I came across numerous stores that strictly dealt with metal wall art and sculptures.
