Oh Wow, This Is Going to Change Everything Foam Wall Art

Way back in the days when I had more hair on the top of my head and a six pack for abs, my better half and I were starting a family. Becoming a father for the first time, I knew decorating my baby’s room in the right way was most important. My wife had other things on her mind, so I directed all my attention to my daughter’s first bedroom. Yes, we were told we were having a girl!

Leaving the furniture and curtains to the discretion of my wife, my thoughts turn to what I do best, wall decorating.

An endless list of parenting and how to care for the new born baby magazines were delivered on a daily basis to our home. So one evening, a beer in hand, I started looking through them for ideas. There were tons of advertisements for custom wall art and even more advertisements for paint companies. Browsing through many pages I came upon an unusual art form known as foam wall art.

This art form consisted of soft non toxic pieces of foam that were formed in many different sizes, shapes and colors. When it comes to design, here there are no limits on your imagination and creativity.

There were various characters from books and movies and several pieces could be placed on the wall and then reused in other locations. They were that durable and had no sharp edges. Since you can keep changing the designs on the wall, they promoted a learning and interactive station for my daughter as she would grow.

When pressed, some of them talked and Dorothy when touched sang Over the Rainbow. I can remember her spending many hours with these props letting her imagination run wild.
