With a child wall mural there is so much to be said about all the choices when it comes to picking one out. As you probably already know, most wall murals for children are placed on the child's bedroom wall. This is a special room for children of all ages.

What I would like to do is break down the categories or styles of wall murals for children by 3 age brackets. The first age bracket will be infant to 5 years old. The second age bracket will be 6 to 10 years old and the third age bracket will be 11 to 15 years old.

The fun part about wall murals for children is, as your child gets older, you can remove the old mural and replace it with a new mural more appropriate with your child's present age. This will also transform their bedroom into an entirely new room with a new theme on the wall.

So let's start our journey through the early years of a child's life and see what I can come up with in regards to different child wall mural themes.

Our first age bracket are ages infant to 5 years old. Here the difference in the theme of the bedroom is decided by the gender of the child. If your new born baby is a girl, then the mural theme of the bedroom (or nursery) would be more likely to be Princess Castle, Fairy Ballet, Butterfly Princess, Flower Field, Paradise of Children or Bunnies in Spring Boat Ride. These are all actual titles of wall murals that could go well on a bedroom wall for a baby girl.

For girls 6 to 10 years old you might want to put up a mural such as Unicorn Garden 1, Ocean Treasures 2, Castle Rose, Storybook Hollow, Paradise Found or Earthly Delight.

Our third and final age bracket for the female child is ages 11 through 15. For girls that age, you might want to put up a child wall mural from one of these titles: Young Ballet Dancer, Woodland Glade, Twin Fawns, The Coming of the Unicorn or Dream Quest. You have to look at these murals in order to know for sure. (No kidding, Joe) Now when it comes to boys, infant to age 5, you are now in a new category. With boys in the early years you might want to choose Safari 2, Dragon Kingdom, Raceway, Outer Space or Boy's Stuff.

When the boy is between 6 and 10 years old, you might want to put up a child wall mural like Shuttle in Orbit, Our Solar System, Green Dragon, Play Ball or Stairway to Heaven. Between the ages of 11 and 15 boys more than likely would be interested in Blue Yonder, Paradise, Funny Car, NASCAR or Creation of Universe.

As I mentioned earlier, the titles of these amazing child wall murals will not give you even a hint of what the murals look like. You would know more about what type of child wall mural would be appropriate to suit your child.
